ABOUT US
Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is began as the collaborative effort of four environmentally passionate students in Dr. Vickery's Social Activism course at the University of North Texas. Concerned with the ethics of the dining and shopping options presented to us around campus, we devised a campaign to raise social awareness of the environmental practices of local businesses. Our goal is to inform and influence the students of Mean Green to use their buying power for the greater ecological good.
Who We Are:
Erin is a Converged Broadcast Media major with a passion for truth and storytelling. She strives to give a voice to those without, which has led her to advocate on behalf of the environment.
Jordan is graduating from the Radio-Television-Film Department with a Minor in Theater. Jordan has a lifelong conviction for animal rights and protecting their natural habitats.
Robbie is a Radio-Television-Film student with a talent for improvisation and comedy writing. His incisive perspective and creativity helps our campaign spread awareness of important environmental issues.
Randi is a Radio-Television-Film major with a passion for radical sustainability. She has volunteered on organic farms and studied renewable energy methods and off-grid lifestyles.
